The Brompton processor can send email notifications to specified email addresses. Users can get notifications when a processor boots up or a panel goes offline, when there are errors in parts of the system such as a cable redundant loop error, and notifications when these errors have been cleared.
Our Tessera platforms can send a log of its actions to a syslog server, so events that would have been stored on the processor can be sent directly to a specified syslog server. Simply select the Enable Syslog checkbox in Processor Preferences and add the IP address of the syslog server.
Users can track the log for errors, warnings and performance metrics – getting real-time alerts when it counts and using syslog information for effective troubleshooting and optimising processor performance.
