The Tessera G1 is by far the most powerful receiver card ever to go into an LED panel. It has 20x more computing power than the current industry-leading R2+ receiver card and unlocks new capabilities for the future of LED processing. To discover more, open the brochure.
A single G1 card can support a staggering one-million-pixel capacity for new generation ultra-fine pixel pitch panels, but is also capable of driving panels at refresh rates up to 1,000 frames per second, and controlling extra emitters beyond RGB with full per-pixel calibration.
It is the first-ever receiver card to support 10Gb fibre Ethernet connections direct to the panel and can connect directly to the fibre outputs on the industry-leading Tessera SX40 processor.
The G1 also supports our unique Dynamic Calibration technology, building on this foundation for Brompton’s TrueLight® functionality, which enables dynamic control of RGBW panels.
Launched in 2014, the Tessera R2 receiver card set the benchmark for LED processing.
Supporting a 262k pixel capacity, it is perfect for all types of LED fixtures, even those with very high resolutions.
The R2 takes a new module-based approach to LED panel receiver card design and uses cutting-edge technology to be the perfect combination of capacity, size and features.

The iconic Tessera R2 has set the standard for receiver cards for many years, and now gets a refresh with the new Tessera R2+.
This new receiver card has the same SO-DIMM form-factor and is backwards-compatible with all existing panel designs. If it works with a Tessera R2 it will work with a Tessera R2+.
However the R2+ brings additional data pins and output capacity to support new LED drivers, making it possible to support more panel types going forward and keeping Brompton Technology at the cutting edge for new panel designs.

Superior greyscale performance – Especially when the LED panels are run at low brightness as is typical in many studio applications
Module storage – Reading calibration data from the LED modules so modules can be swapped without having to recalibrate
Advanced calibration options – Allowing video engineers to make on-site tweaks, for example applying edge correction to compensate for mechanical seams between panels using On-Screen Colour Adjustment (OSCA)
Measuring just 68x32mm, the compact form factor of the R2 module is intended to fit into the vast majority of LED panel enclosures.
It uses a widely-available DDR2 SO-DIMM socket and a reference design is provided.
Our multilingual Field Application Engineers are always available to support the integration of new panels.

The R2 LED panel receiver card has been designed to be both highly efficient and extremely cost effective, removing the duplication of connectors and circuitry in a panel’s design.
This combination of performance, features, size and cost makes it great value for high quality LED video panel control.
Every regular firmware update makes the R2 even more powerful, as it delivers new features in addition to existing features like OSCA, Dark Magic and panel OSD. Backward compatibility is always maintained and any LED fixture using the R2 receiver card can upgrade its firmware at any time.
The FAE team based in Shenzhen and London work closely with our partners to integrate Tessera processing into new panel designs or purchases.
