In addition to the official launch of its already highly acclaimed High Dynamic Range (HDR) solution, LDI 2019 sees leading LED processing manufacturer, Brompton Technology, unveiling Dynamic Calibration, a unique technology that enables Brompton HDR as well as a number of new performance-enhancing features such as PureTone and ThermaCal.

Dynamic Calibration is a ground-breaking new technology that allows LED panels to achieve a higher brightness and wider colour gamut than is possible with legacy calibration techniques. This revolutionary new approach from Brompton maintains uniformity while unlocking the full potential of the LEDs to achieve previously unthinkable levels of brightness and colour saturation.

“Brompton’s implementation of HDR is very different from anything else already on the market and has required us to re-imagine the fundamentals of how LED video processing should work,” says Brompton’s CTO, Chris Deighton. “We are now delighted to lift the curtain on Dynamic Calibration and show the complete package for the very first time at LDI.”

As well as being able to see HDR on its newly designed stand, which allows greater access to Brompton’s ground-breaking products, and Dynamic Calibration in its dedicated New Technology Showcase room, LDI gives visitors another chance to see the company’s latest Tessera Processor Software, which includes a number of new features for the Tessera SX40 such as High Frame Rate, Ultra Low Latency, advanced Genlock controls and the Dynamic Calibration-enabled PureTone and ThermaCal.

“We are excited to be able to bring this unique technology and the whole array of new features it enables to LDI for the first time,” says Brompton’s Managing Director Richard Mead. “Our customers will be able to judge for themselves the difference Brompton processing offers.”

See HDR and the Tessera SX40 on Booth 1161 and Dynamic Calibration and HDR in room N254 at LDI, which takes place in the Las Vegas Convention Center from 22nd to 24th November 2019. Email to book your place at one of our LDI demo sessions.
