Brompton Technology has received two coveted awards at this year’s NAB Show: the NAB Product of the Year Award for its Tessera v3.3 release, and the Advanced Imaging Society’s re Entertainment Technology Award for its Tessera SX40 LED processor.
The Advanced Imaging Society’s awards brunch was held at the Wynn/Encore on Saturday 23 April. Their re Awards recognise breakthrough technical achievements in the entertainment industry and the Tessera SX40 was applauded for its performance in virtual production, particularly in-camera visual effects.
Used on pioneering virtual production projects including Disney’s The Mandalorian, the Tessera SX40 delivers exceptional image quality for both the eye and the camera. It offers reliable performance across a range of production scenarios and has become the gold standard in the industry for LED processing. The Brompton team was pleased to accept the re Award alongside other winners from AMD, Cinionic, HP, Prysm/Lux Machina/NEP Virtual Studios, Qualcomm, Tencent Media Labs, V-Nova Limited and Weta FX.
The NAB Show Product of the Year Awards recognise and celebrate the most significant and promising new products and technologies exhibited during the show. This year’s awards ceremony was held on 26 April at the Las Vegas Convention Center and honoured exhibitors across multiple categories. Brompton Technology’s Tessera v3.3 software won in the Graphics, Editing, VFX and Switchers category. Other winners in this category included Noitom International’s NoitomVPS, Zero Density’s TRAXIS talentS and STYPE’s RedSpy 3.0.
