    Job Summary

    Brompton Technology has a great opportunity for a Associate Technical Support Specialist. You should have good communication skills and enjoy working with people. Electronic and IT-based technical aptitude are important, and willingness to help solve problems over the telephone or in written messages. Your verbal and written communication skills will need to be excellent. Each interaction you have with a client helps to build long-term working relationships. You will need to stay calm and positive under pressure, as our customers work on the world’s largest and most high-profile shows. Training on Brompton products will be provided, but an aptitude for technology is necessary. A keen amateur interest in the field of AV and video would be useful but is not a necessity.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assisting with RMA product returns and coordinating return shipping
    • Responding to technical support enquiries for Brompton products via phone or email
    • Assisting with Onsite support for major projects worldwide, including out of hours support
    • Assisting with testing of new products prior to release, and providing feedback and support to the development team

    Job Summary

    Brompton Technology has an immediate employment opportunity for a Field Applications Engineer. This role will involve working closely with Brompton customers, particularly in the Guangdong province in China.

    Experience of electronics engineering is essential and the applicant should be comfortable interpreting schematics and datasheets. Training on Brompton products and technologies will be provided, in Shenzhen, but a keen interest in the field would be an advantage. Good communication skills, particularly relating to technical matters, are also required as this is a client-facing role and will often involve acting as liaison between customers and the Brompton UK FAE team. Excellent written and verbal language skills are highly desirable, with specific skills required in both English and Chinese. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assisting customers with LED panel designs using Brompton Tessera controller cards

    Job Summary

    Brompton Technology has a great opportunity for a Technical Support Specialist.

    The role is primarily customer-facing so you should have confident communication skills and enjoy working with people. Your verbal and written communication skills will need to be excellent in Chinese Mandarin; Your English level shall at least be of working proficiency and able to understand and communicate any technical details to others.

    Strong electronic and IT-based technical skills are essential, and ideally experience helping to solve problems over the telephone, via communication apps or in written messages. You will need to stay calm and positive under pressure, as our customers work on the world’s largest and most high-profile shows.

    The successful applicant will be part of a close-knit team in Shenzhen China, and connect closely to our team in London, getting to know Brompton products, personnel, and company culture. Going forward in the post-Covid world, periodic visits to our London headquarters are also expected, to stay current with the latest developments. Frequent travels throughout China and beyond will be a feature of this position.

    The requirements of this role include visiting customer and end-user premises to provide on-site support such as resolving technical issues and leading product/feature demonstrations. This role will also coordinate with the local and the wider international support teams to handle issues such as RMAs and other daily admin duties.

    Training on Brompton products will be provided, but a strong underlying technical understanding is necessary. Experience in a technical role within the audio/video industry is ideal but not essential, particularly if you have a keen amateur interest in the field of audio/video.

    • Carry out Sub-Assembly preparation tasks of Carallon products from soldering components to supporting circuit boards, to building a run of mechanical sub-assemblies

    Job Summary

    The senior hardware developer position is within our development team, which works concurrently on a variety of exciting, cutting-edge projects.     Key Responsibilities

    • Development of electronics products from concept through to schematic design and PCB layout

    Job Summary

    We are looking for an experienced software test specialist to join our team. Primary focus would be on effective automated testing of our industry-leading lighting control and video processing products using the Squish automated testing tool, and selenium web driver with Python/JavaScript , however we also utilise manual testing methods where automation is not an option.     The Purchasing Assistant role is a new position within our procurement team. As Purchasing Assistant you will be supporting the procurement manager in the development of all tactical elements relating to the performance of the department.

    • Ensure all delivery notes match to received goods and update POs on NetSuite and in the filing cabinet

    Job Summary

    The Carallon family of companies plan to relocate to a 32,000 square foot office building in Gunnersbury later in 2022. The Building Maintenance Supervisor will have day-to-day responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep the site. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with a range of practical skills, so that they can confidently carry out routine maintenance or deal with minor maintenance issues, but know when to call in an appropriate tradesperson. They will ensure an agreed building maintenance schedule is followed, liaising with external service providers as necessary and ensuring good record-keeping.

    This role could be part-time (from 0.5FTE) but will work best with a working pattern that involves being onsite most days during the week (e.g. mornings only). The position is available immediately, as ideally the Building Maintenance Supervisor will be onsite during the fitout and assist with coordinating the move into the new building.

    Job Summary

    The Account Assistant will be responsible for administration and management of accounts payable process for all four companies. Duties include processing invoices, answering accounts payable queries and reconciling supplier statements.
