    Job Summary

    Brompton Technology has a great opportunity for a Associate Technical Support Specialist. You should have good communication skills and enjoy working with people. Electronic and IT-based technical aptitude are important, and willingness to help solve problems over the telephone or in written messages. Your verbal and written communication skills will need to be excellent. Each interaction you have with a client helps to build long-term working relationships. You will need to stay calm and positive under pressure, as our customers work on the world’s largest and most high-profile shows. Training on Brompton products will be provided, but an aptitude for technology is necessary. A keen amateur interest in the field of AV and video would be useful but is not a necessity.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assisting with RMA product returns and coordinating return shipping
    • Responding to technical support enquiries for Brompton products via phone or email
    • Assisting with Onsite support for major projects worldwide, including out of hours support
    • Assisting with testing of new products prior to release, and providing feedback and support to the development team
    • Assisting with demonstrations of products to potential customers

    Job Summary

    Brompton Technology has an immediate employment opportunity for a Field Applications Engineer.

    This role will involve working closely with Brompton customers, particularly in the Guangdong province in China. The post-holder will need to spend a number of weeks receiving training at our headquarters in London.

    Experience of electronics engineering is essential and the applicant should be comfortable interpreting schematics and datasheets. Training on Brompton products and technologies will be provided, in Shenzhen as well as London, but a keen interest in the field would be an advantage. Good communication skills, particularly relating to technical matters, are also required as this is a client-facing role and will often involve acting as liaison between customers and the Brompton UK FAE team. Excellent written and verbal language skills are highly desirable, with specific skills required in both English and Chinese.

    The Senior Field Applications Engineer will report to the General Manager for Asia, and work closely with the other members of our FAE team. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assisting customers with LED panel designs using Brompton Tessera controller cards
    • Onsite support at customer factories for Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and colour calibration
    • Acting in a technical sales capacity to provide product information to potential customers
    • Managing Brompton’s relationship with key manufacturers within the Tessera programme
    • Helping to resolve supply chain and logistics issues in China and Asia Pacific when required

    Job Summary

    The Brompton sales coordinator will be responsible for processing Brompton sales orders via our business system NetSuite, also communicating directly with the UK and worldwide sales & support teams and their customers. The successful candidate will provide regular updates regarding any potential lead times, delays or credit issues, then fulfil orders by picking, packing and scheduling couriers. They will prepare accurate documentation and provide certificates for shipments, ensuring current customs procedures are adhered to. They​ will send tracking information and follow up on any import issues, then send invoices and regular account statements. They will work as part of the Carallon operations team and provide additional support where necessary.​ The Sales Coordinator will report directly to the Operations Manager.​

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process new customer account applications and maintain an accurate customer database
    • Assist Brompton worldwide sales teams with customer inquiries, shipping quotes and product lead time
    • Inform sales team & customers of any inventory shortages where necessary
    • Process customer purchase orders by providing confirmation, accurate ship dates and scheduling
    • Monitor existing orders and maintain Brompton warehouse stock
    • Provide accurate shipping documents and current certification pertaining to import/export
    • Assist with clearance for import/export and manage customs documentation

    The Associate Software Developer position is within our development team, which works concurrently on a variety of exciting, cutting-edge projects. Our R&D team operates across the full technology stack from electronics, FPGA and BSP work through to real-time, large-scale, networked application design covering both backend and UI design.     The Receptionist / Administration Assistant is a new position within our People and Governance team. The successful candidate will report to the Executive Assistant and support all duties relating to reception and administration across the team.
